This photo weas captured in the fall from the gravel beach behind Lake Mcdonald Lodge. This historic Lodge is located near the top of Beautiful Lake McDonald, which is the largest lake in Glacier National Park. Although there are multiple viewing sites easily accessible as the Going-To-The-Sun-Road meanders along the lake, the two most visited are at Apgar Village and Lake McDonald Lodge.
These two sites are also the two that I frequent the most, both in my personal photo outings, and as I act as a tour guide for visitors throughout the year.
